The silence of the landscape is the only true subject.
Documenting the Earth's most extreme frontier landscapes
My work is a chronicle of self-supported expeditions across the glacial valleys of Iceland, the sub-Antarctic winds of Patagonia, and the rugged passes of the Southern Alps. I seek the crystalline tension where geology meets atmosphere.
Each frame is a result of days spent in the field, waiting for the light to reveal the true texture of the terrain. My approach is strictly observational, prioritizing the raw, unmediated scale of the wilderness over commercial artifice.
